Master of Education (Mathematics) – Taught Course

PROGRAM SYNOPSIS

The Master of Education (Mathematics) program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) provides educators and professionals the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in mathematics and effective teaching methodologies. This program is specifically designed to strengthen both theoretical and practical aspects of mathematics education, with an emphasis on research, pedagogical innovation, and current technology.

Participants will develop analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teaching techniques adaptable to current educational needs. Graduates of this program are well-positioned to become leaders in mathematics education, whether in schools, higher education institutions, or research fields

PEO1:  Proficient in applying and communicating in-depth relevant knowledge in solving problems critically and analytically in the field of Mathematics Education.

PREREQUISITE (IMPORTANT NOTICE)
YHPP 1013-FOUNDATION OF EDUCATION :

1. Starting semester 1 session 2023/24 session, postgraduate students who do not have qualifications in the field of education or work experience related to education must pass the prerequisite course set on the first semester of study before being allowed to register core courses of the study program.
2. Students need to repeat the prerequisite courses in the following semester if failed.
3. Students only allowed to take core courses of the program after students pass the prerequisite courses
