Overview Mathematic Education(MPM)

We aim to help students see the world through mathematical eyes. They will grow as individuals who can see our complex world in this perspective with skills and attributes that modern employer are seeking for.  They can make our world a better place through solving current and future problems such as those related to climate change and sustainability. The need for new scholars and leaders in mathematics education is great to shape young generation. Our programs in mathematics education offer opportunities to study how students learn problem solving, mathematical thinking, reasoning, and mathematical communication. Both master and doctoral programs also study on teaching and teacher training; the design, implementation and effects of curriculum and instructional interventions and their implementation and effects; contemporary developments in learning theories and technologies. The Mathematics Education program prepares scholars to work as researchers, expert practitioners, or policy professionals at school as well as tertiary levels of education.
