Over the years, activities in engineering education around the globe has evolved from scholarly practice sharing to include rigorous research that contributes to a wide body of knowledge, including educational sciences and educational research. However, beginners interested in engineering education who wish to conduct research in this field will often wonder how and where to start. She is currently the Chair, School of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UTM. While her doctoral training is on STEM education research, her involvement in engineering education started since 2010. She has published widely in engineering education and presented at several international conferences on engineering education. She teaches Research Methodology for PhD students in Engineering Education, UTM.
