MPPU 1105 : Research Study 1

This course is designed to synthesize the knowledge and skills developed in previous class and research courses and apply them to produce the Master Research Proposal. The Master Research proposal is the beginning steps to demonstrate mastery to the field of study and contributes knowledge to the field. Students will focus in all aspects of developing and carrying out the Master Research Proposal. Generally, students should propose the introduction or Basis for the Study, or Orientation to the Problem, Defining the Problem Statement, Writing the Hypotheses or Questions, Writing the Review of the Literature (building a case for the need for the study) and Articulating the Study Design in the research proposal. Therefore, students are expected to understand the standards and expectations to meet to be successful in preparing the research proposal. Furthermore, students are required to work closely as appropriate with their supervisor/advisor throughout the course. At the end of the course, students are able to produce a Master Research Proposal that aligns with the policies and guidelines published by the University.
