This course discusses the process of conducting research in education. More specific, the discussion will explore perspectives of research activities. Among topics that will be covered are the scientific methods, basic elements of research, research design and approaches, instrumentation, data collection, data processing and analysis and report writing. Three major approaches namely quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method will be explored by given examples and methods. Students will have the opportunity to make decisons on the practicality towards their research project or dissertation through a written proposal.
