MPPK 1343 : Technology in Chemistry Education

Technology is essential tools in teaching and learning nowadays. It is important for
teachers not just know how to use the tools effectively in teaching and learning but also
to design quality electronic teaching and learning materials to enhance the student
learning experience. This course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the
use of computer in Chemistry education. This includes the instructional design,
courseware design, interactive PowerPoint presentation design, data logging for
Chemistry experiments, web curriculum design, interactive online Chemistry
educational resources and websites.
