MPPD 1323 : Educational Issues In Family Development

This course aim to provide students with the understanding of the institutions of family and educational relations through the perspective of sociology. Starting from the types of families the relations with the
institution of family and other social institutions particularly education will be discussed. Discussion topic include some basic theoretical approaches to family as well. The materials reflect various samples from diverse societies
and cultures such as the first world and the third world countries including specifically experiences in Malaysia.
