This course is designed to expose the students with curriculum definitions and the perspectives of curriculum studies. Students are exposed to several theories of education, theories of knowledge and theories of curriculum. In addition, students are required to understand and internalize the curriculum theory with educational problem and the elements of practices in curriculum implementation. Lastly, students will also acquire the knowledge in curriculum change, strategies in curriculum change and development and the implementation of curriculum change in line with Malaysian Educational Curriculum.
