This course introduces the major concepts and their differences, origins , philosophy and debates in globalization, internationalization and education, comparative and international education theories, policies, methods; it explores selected educational settings around the world, current policies issues, decentralization and governance, neo-liberalism, access and quality, testing and accountability in education, borrowing and transfer as well as teacher professionalism.
