CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION (MHPC)-Taught Course
Program Synopsis | Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) program offers students from diverse educational backgrounds opportunities to enhance interests within the context of their professional roles. It provides a comprehensive foundation in the philosophy, principles, and practices of curriculum and instruction, while fostering a critical understanding of key contemporary issues in the field. Designed for individuals with experience in schools or other educational settings, the program equips participants to work effectively at the intersection of theory and practice in areas such as teaching, learning, curriculum design, teacher education, and school reform. Students can also take advantage of courses offered across the Faculty of Education Science and Technology. Beyond coursework, students complete a final project that enables them to delve deeply into a specific area of interest. This programs aim to prepare graduates to serve as educational leaders in diverse contexts and to pursue further advanced study. |

Program Learning Outcomes | PLO1: Synthesize complex information, specialized concepts, theories, methods and practice independently in the field of Curriculum and Instruction PLO2: Construct solutions to complex problems or issues in the field of Curriculum and Instruction. PLO3: Demonstrate advanced practical and technical skills in Curriculum and Instructions for learning and research PLO4: Display effective interaction and teamworking skills in learning and working communities as well as other groups and networks, ethically and professionally. PLO5: Communicate knowledge, skills and ideas effectively using appropriate methods to peers, scholarly communities, and societies. PLO6: Use a wide range of suitable digital technologies and appropriate software competently to enhance learning and research. PLO7: Demonstrate skills to plan, design, analyze and evaluate numerical and graphical data in quantitative and qualitative research activities.
