This course covers the study of human development in physical, cognitive, emotional as well as in social growth from zygote stage till the end of life. It also examines the similarities and differences of individual behaviour. This course provides a fairly balanced look at all the periods in human life span with discussions on dominant theories, recent research and cross-cultural perspectives. Contemporary issues in the field of human development are also discussed.
