Program Synopsis The Master of Education in Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL) programme at the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) is designed for individuals seeking to deepen their knowledge and expertise in teaching English to second language and non-native speakers.
This programme aims to equip educators with advanced skills in language teaching, research,
and curriculum development, making it ideal for those aspiring to work in academic,
institutional, or language training settings. This Master’s program at UTM is ideal for educators seeking to enhance their professional qualifications and contribute to the development of the TESL field through both practical and academic work.
Program Educational Outcome

PEO1: Proficient in applying and communicating in-depth relevant knowledge in solving problems critically and analytically in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language.
